Picture Day Coordinator Tips

The Picture Chairman packet you receive from Digital Pix contains complete instructions on how to prepare for and smoothly move through your Day of Photography. Below are some of the key events/tasks you want to prepare for.

Here are a few tips to help you:

• Send reminders to all members that have not signed up.
• Confirm you have your room reserved for at least one and a half hours before and after your scheduled time to be photographed.
• Be sure to check off anyone needing to us a previous year pose, so you take advantage of the Day of Photography savings for that service.
• Request a check for the number of members appearing on the composite times our per participant fee ahead of time. If you are unsure of what your final count will be, use last year’s number as a guideline. You will be credited for any overage.
• Be sure to take the important documents you received in your PC packet with you to the actual session. Completion and submission of the four vital pieces of information (Composite Detail Instructions, Membership Roster, Officer List, and Picture Chairperson Form) allow for prompt accurate completion of your composite.
• Arrange for back-up assistance in the event you need to leave the session for any period of time.
• Be prepared to help your members adjust their appearance and/or select their favorite pose.
