Digital Pix ships products to customers using shippers that have proven to be reliable over the course of time. We only use shippers that have the fastest, on-time service available. Since carriers’ performance and pricing varies by region, the shipping carriers we use may vary regionally and by product type. Our packaging meets the most rigid packaging requirements in the shipping industry.

Providing tough protective packaging for our composite products is a critical component in the Digital Pix manufacturing process. All packaging for products being shipped has been custom designed for maximum protection of our products using only the lightest weight yet strongest materials available. Keeping the packaging light keeps costs down and protects the employees of the shipping companies from having to move excessive weight. We have worked tirelessly with our shipping partners to conform our packaging to their packaging requirements. After satisfying our shippers and conforming to their uncompromising standards, we have made additional improvements. Our goal is to have 100% of our composites delivered undamaged, and on time.

Our master composite products are unusually large across two dimensions and therefore must be shipped by a qualified carrier that specializes in unusual sized packages. Packaging for these composites requires extremely durable specialty cardboard custom-crafted crates, reinforced corner supports, dual layered rigid side supports, and Masonite corner reinforcements on the actual composite framing corners. All composite packages are banded with metal straps to keep the packaging intact until delivery. The packages are designed to protect your composite from flexing and bending during shipping. The packaging materials are specially treated to protect your composites from humidity, rain and snow prior to delivery. We use only the best quality packaging – your composite is too important to trust to anything less.

Shipping charges from the carriers are based upon what is called “Dim Weight” which is short hand for dimension and weight. Shipping rates for packages of this type area assessed at a premium rate not assessed against smaller packages.

While there is occasional damage, rest assured that we will replace your damaged composite immediately at no cost to you, so that you will have your composite delivered and on your wall on time. All you have to do is inspect your package upon receipt. Should you note any damage, please follow the instructions on the package and refuse delivery.
