Green Screen Technology
Chroma key or green screen technology may seem like a new idea, but it’s been around for decades. Used in television and movies for special effects for years, it seems to be a natural fit with digital photography. With a little imagination, it has the ability to transport you to a location that you have never visited or take you to a new world that you have created. The sky is the limit when it comes to green screen, but it takes some practice and an idea of what you want to achieve, so when you get started you have the knowledge to be successful.
As technology advances, there may come a day really soon that every photographer that works for Digital Pix will carry a green screen. This has become such a reality that we have added a green screen section to our Photographer’s Manual. There has been a detailed instruction with all of Digital Pix’s photographers on how to correctly use and photograph with the green screen.
