There is No Substitute for Customer Contact
I am writing this message from the road. Chris and I are on a sweep through the Southwestern/Northwestern states photographing, meeting the Coordinators of Greek Life and Nursing School Directors wherever possible. We are also getting sales packets into the hands of prospective customers.
Being on the road in the role of photographer/sales agent gives us the opportunity to see how customers respond to our products and services. It also reminds us what our photographers experience every day that they are on the road.
Just as Chris and I periodically assess our in-house processes to streamline them and make them more customer-friendly, we apply the same analyses to photography shoots on location with customers and sales calls on prospects. We continually tweak our sales presentations to administrators, both for graduate programs and Greek organizations. Visiting with customers is the only way to make sure that we meet their expectations.
