Our Story
In the late 1960s, Digital Pix started as a small family business, known as Custom Composites, Inc.
Our goal was to provide the highest quality composite and portrait services to Sorority and Fraternity communities, as well as college graduating classes. Our founders led the way for composite innovation and invented the raised plaque used on traditional composites. We are a family owned company with over 60 years of experience. Digital Pix is proud to be lead by two generations of strong women.
Evolving Business
In 2004, Digital Pix evolved its business model to embrace the new world of digital photography.
To ensure a smooth transition for our customers, we purchased state of the art digital photography equipment and software and held training seminars for our photographers and staff. As one of the first composite companies to make the switch, Digital Pix revolutionized the photo day experience with proprietary software that allows customers to enter their personal data and select their pose at the session. These advancements resulted in faster processing, quicker turnaround time, and have virtually eliminated errors.
